learning - part 1 (a quote)

     One of the biggest lessons I have learned during this difficult time in my life is summed up well in this quote from the movie "Soul Surfer" (incredible movie!).

"When you get caught in the impact zone, you need to get right back up, because you never know what's over the next wave. And if you have faith, anything is possible. Anything at all."

      I realized that I liked to camp out in the valley, not wanting to let go of the idea that I can't have something I want. I wanted to hold on to the hope that maybe I could have it after all. But I'm starting to understand that it's not God's plan for me. He's giving me faith to move on, and like the quote says, "if you have faith, anything is possible." I was fighting to stay in the impact zone, but I'm realizing that God wants me to get up now and leave it behind me.
   
     I am ready to see what is over the next wave!
